liu xing yu

i am watching china’s meteor garden/hana yori dango/boys over flowers

and well let me say this briefly alright.

WATCH IT!

it might not be your favourite: HYD is still my first love but you will definitely find the plot refreshing. although there will be slight but never major cock up here and there but definitely entertaining. and this version really make do of its words – they mention that china version will be different and i have to salute them for it and the most important main point is that they it is not boring at all!

i always give every drama a shot and try my best not to judge them biased-ly. like, i may like s.korea but that will never change my opinion that BOF is just MG and HYD combine together with no origin to mark itself uniquely. only good looking guys to capture the audience attention although i have to admit i am one of them : lee min ho*dreamy*.

okay. about China’s version. the lead of F4 is not super handsome but i got to say he is quite hot! this is the first in a drama that i kept staring at an actor’s eyes and just fazed over it! seriously, the eyes is just marvelous! their let/rui/jihoo is a complete mess though! not handsome at all and i always forward whenever he gets the camera’s full shot! the other 2, well let’s just say they are fine. the lead actress is just 18 years old but she is not bad. might not be that good looking but she does fit the makino/shancai/jandi character.

anyway, this drama has sort of re-spark my want to learn chinese once again. but i got to deal with korean language first and foremost.i have never dreamed of going to china for holiday except for guangzhou and that is mainly because of their counterfeit items. but this drama has made me want to go to beijing and shanghai and see what those places has to offer. i did before mention though that i want to go beijing before to learn language for a whole year. i might reconsider that again once i start working and saved up the money that is needed.

being multi-lingual is interesting. bilingual is such a norm in singapore.

anyway, all in all. just watch it. no sweat man.

what have you got to lose anyway?
